Describe the bug
I'm not sure whether this is intended to be a bug or feature, however it's fairly inconvenient for my usage case.

The scenario is setting up reminders for events that follow a non-obvious recurrence rule: e.g. the event happens once a month, but the week it falls in changes depending on various circumstances.

I made a parent task "event name, 2024/25", then I made a new task for the first event and linked it to the umbrella event.

To save time, I then created copies of the first task and edited manually the date and description for each.

The copies, however, are not linked automatically to the parent, the linked parent field is unset.

To Reproduce

  1. Create umbrella task
  2. Create task
  3. Link task to umbrella
  4. Duplicate task
  5. Parent link is unset

Expected behavior
Since all the tasks are copies, I would have found more convenient for them to be automatically linked to the same parent as the original event.
