Case-insensitive filesystems are a problem

This repo has a license directory and LICENSE file, which causes issues on my sort-of-case-insensitive-by-default Mac system (I wish they didn't do this, but they do). It can be worked around, but the ways this problem manifests doesn't make it obvious what the problem is. Perhaps s/license/licenses would be reasonable?
