Override Board and Home

I'm trying to override the home and board to use my base.html template as well use everything within my base.html template as I have a lot of customizations but when I change the base.html to mine it breaks budge_board_details board:slug when it loads that page.

This is what I see:

None of the swimlanes display nor does the add card button or filter button. How would I go about using my base.html template to accomplish the look I want?
