Comment from team:

The labels say "577 grants did not have enough information to determine geography." but in the case I was looking at, all these were international grants.

An example of a search containing international grants: Indigo are a good example as the majority of their grants are international: https://insights.threesixtygiving.org/data?funders=GB-CHC-1075920

  • Simple solution is to update the label to say "577 grants did not have enough information to determine geography or were made to organisations based outside the UK."
  • More complex solution is to distinguish between grants that don't have good geodata and international grants and say say "X grants did not have enough information to determine geography and Y grants were made to organisations based outside the UK."

Would be good to investigate the latter solution, and if it's too complex we can implement the former in the first instance.

Tagging as priority on the assumption that we'll get only the copy update and not a count of international grants.

Discussed in https://opendataservices.plan.io/issues/33069 that it would also be good to display "Unknown" or similar in the charts themselves
