Extra space when blueprinting is back #168
Comments
ok, I'll take a look |
Kremnev8 and I can't figure this one out, can you give us some more information? Mod versions, any other mods you might be running? Possibly upload a save so we can replicate? |
It does seem to be inconsistent. I just tested it on a different planet and it didn't behave the same way. Let me get back to the planet I took a screenshot of (it's 28LY away and I'm still on Deuteron Rods) and make sure it's still happening. In the meantime, I'm running the same mods as before, all managed by r2modman, and have just added RaigunsRetargeting:
I'll get back to you shortly with further information. |
Okay. Now I see why you couldn't reproduce it. It's inconsistent and even depends on which direction you select the area from. In the pictures above, if I select from the upper-left (top-left belt of the mall that's been tagged) and drag to the lower-right to ensure everything contiguous in the mall is selected, the issue occurs. If, however, I select the exact same area starting from the lower right and drag to the upper-left, it doesn't. The savefile is obviously too big to post here. Here's a link to it on my google drive. Icarus is directly below the area with the issue. https://drive.google.com/file/d/17BYqR5PXUbbjMeP1hQxUCoL1jWTDRe-3/view?usp=sharing |
Seems to be when the bounding box crosses the 0 longitude line, I've let the BlueprintTweaks author know, and I'll do some testing to see if its a conflict with GS or not |
I've noticed that the extra space being highlighted issue is back when doing a blueprint.
It is, however, only cropping up when you have foundations as part of the blueprint. See below for an example.
Without foundations (unchecked):
With foundations (checked):
It did this right after I did a "copy" operation. Checking/unchecking the "foundations" box togges the extra space coverage.
