Do you use TrackerControl from Google Play/F-Droid/other?
Android 15. TC v2024.01.02 provided by IzzyOnDroid F-Droid Repo.

Describe the bug
Monitoring is off but, display of "google.com" being contacted is shown.

To Reproduce

  1. With "Manage system apps" on
  2. With "monitoring" for GPS daemon off
  3. "contacted 1 company last week" continues to be displayed

I've Cleared GPS daemon several times and in each case after several hours (assuming when google.com is contacted), contacted 1 company last week is displayed again. I have not noted any GPS daemon related issues on my phone with Monitoring on or off.

This is not as expected? For example, with Monitoring off on my Browser (as Browsers are not supported by TC) no "contacted # companies last week" is ever displayed.
