Minecraft Server Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

As members, contributors, and leaders of this Minecraft server, we pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free and enjoyable experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and fun community.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment for our Minecraft server community include:

  • Demonstrating kindness and respect toward other players
  • Being open to different play styles, building techniques, and creative ideas
  • Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback
  • Taking responsibility for mistakes, apologizing when necessary, and learning from experiences
  • Focusing on what is best for the community as a whole

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • The use of offensive or inappropriate language and behavior
  • Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
  • Vandalizing the server, including griefing or unauthorized modifications
  • Publishing others' private information without explicit permission
  • Any conduct that would be considered inappropriate in a gaming community setting

Minecraft EULA Compliance

This server adheres to Mojang's End User License Agreement (EULA) for Minecraft. By participating in this server, you agree to:

  • No Pay-to-Win: No items or advantages will be sold for real money that would give players an unfair advantage over others. All server gameplay and features are provided fairly to all players.
  • No Unauthorized Distribution: You will not distribute or sell Minecraft game files or server software without proper authorization.
  • Respect Mojang’s Intellectual Property: All Minecraft-related assets, including but not limited to logos, artwork, and sounds, remain the intellectual property of Mojang and must not be used without proper permissions.

Enforcement Responsibilities

Server hosts and community leaders are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior and will take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Hosts and leaders have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject content and contributions that do not align with this Code of Conduct and will communicate reasons for moderation decisions when appropriate.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all server spaces and also applies when an individual is officially representing the server in public spaces. Examples of representing our server include using an official email address, posting via an official social media account, or acting as an appointed representative at an event or online.

Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported to the server hosts at [[email protected]]. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

All community leaders are obligated to respect the privacy and security of the reporter of any incident.

Enforcement Guidelines

Server hosts will follow these Community Impact Guidelines in determining the consequences for any action they deem in violation of this Code of Conduct:

1. Correction

Community Impact: Use of inappropriate language or other behavior deemed unwelcome in the community.

Consequence: A private, written warning from server hosts, explaining the nature of the violation and why the behavior was inappropriate. A public apology may be requested.

2. Warning

Community Impact: A violation through a single incident or series of actions.

Consequence: A warning with consequences for continued behavior. No interaction with the server or community members for a specified period. Violating these terms may lead to a temporary or permanent ban.

3. Temporary Ban

Community Impact: A serious violation of server standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior.

Consequence: A temporary ban from the server for a specified period. No interaction with the server or community members during this period. Violating these terms may lead to a permanent ban.

4. Permanent Ban

Community Impact: Demonstrating a pattern of violation of server standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior, harassment, or aggression toward individuals.

Consequence: A permanent ban from the server.

Special Note for Friends Hosting the Server

If you are one of my friends currently hosting the server, please ensure that you create a pull request with the latest world data to this repository. This helps maintain parity and ensures that we all have a consistent and enjoyable experience.
