thoughts on how this could work:

• take [email protected] as the login
• fetch the related nostr public key from trustroots.org/.well-known Select Nip5 domain by dropdown in login form #2
• check if the browser has window.nostr capabilities Build a NIP-07 "log in with nostr" extension for mediawiki #3
• check if username exists, if it exists the user is logged in
• if username doesn't exist yet, create a user

question:

• is the mediawiki username the npub or something based on nip-05

• check nip-46

The username should probably be Nostroots_trustroots_org, not just Nostroots, otherwise a user with NIP-05 [email protected] could log in as Nostroots on nomadwiki.
