related nostr ideas for mediawiki

Capturing some thoughts around mediawiki and nostr:

• send out recent changes on nostr, following https://github.com/Trustroots/nostroots/blob/main/docs/Events.md
  • nomadwiki to https://www.trustroots.org/circles/nomads
  • hitchwiki to https://www.trustroots.org/circles/hitchhikers
  • trashwiki to https://www.trustroots.org/circles/dumpster-divers
• use geolocation data (e.g. <map lat='50.836' lng='4.34' zoom='10' /> at https://hitchwiki.org/en/Brussels)
• even send the entire article as long form?
• embedding nostr notes/feed on mediawiki?
  • iframe? which could then also be shown on /circles/
  • mediawiki extension?

Some of this can be based on pywikibot.
Any useful code that might come out of this should be AGPL.

General thoughts

• wikis are great for structuring information and create knowledge bases
• MediaWIki isn't really "wiki" anymore (fast in Hawaiian), it's been hard to repeat the success of hitchwiki (started mid 2000s) in another context, even more so in 2024
• nostr could fix this, by allowing people to simply post notes, and then (re)structuring these in various way
• wikifreedia has a different take on nostr+wiki than what I am aiming for
• trustroots circles, hitchwiki, nomadwiki are nice places to experiment with this
