In some cases, need to recourse to exceptions to propagate invalid parameter settings (recurrent issue for positive constraint) info to the logDensity calculator. See for example in TIPS, ReversibleDBProcess and TestTipsInference.

We may want to generalize this mechanism to other things than real variables too.
