Add support for server-side rendering

I'm not entirely sure how I want to go about doing this just yet, but if this is ever to widely adopted for use in public facing web apps, it needs to handle SEO better, which means support for server-rendering. This needs a lot of thought, but we can't really have a 1.0.0 release without some semblance of support.
