Prerequisites for a desktop client:

• Completely open-source
• Lean application with a clear list of dependencies which can be locally met by the operating system
• No binaries bundled with the application
• Kill Switch
• DNS Leak Protection
• Obfuscation techniques (SSL: stunnel and openconnect, SSH, obfs4, XOR)
• Preferably no electron application but a native application for Linux-based operating systems
