[QAM] - "Low Disk Space" notification does not redirect to Storage when selected. #11491

Your system information

  • Steam client version (build number or date): 1731433018 (Stable) / 1731716808 (Beta)
  • Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): SteamOS 3.6.20 / 3.7.0 (Deck) and Manjaro w/ Gnome 46 (Desktop)
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes. Issue is present on both Stable and Beta
  • Have you checked for system updates?: Yes
  • Steam Logs: steam-logs.tar.gz
  • GPU: AMD Van Gogh RDNA 2.0 (Steam Deck) and RX 7800XT (Desktop)

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

The Low Disk Space notification that appears on screen does nothing when tapped using the mouse / touchscreen. The one within the Notifications tab of the Quick-Access Menu also has a prompt to "Select" / A however it does not redirect the user to the Storage tab of the Settings menu.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Open the SteamOS Devkit Client.
  2. Select the target device and chose Remote Shell
  3. Run the following command: fallocate -l 500G temp; rm temp
  4. Press ... to open the Quick-Access Menu.
  5. Navigate to the Notifications tab (🔔) and press A.
  6. Highlight the Low Disk Space notification and press A.

Reproduction Rate: 5/5

Affected Platforms

  • LCD / Jupiter: Yes
  • OLED / Galileo: Yes
  • Desktop Deck-like session (gamescope -e -- steam -gamepadui -steamdeck): Yes
  • Desktop: N/A

Note: On Desktop in Big Picture Mode, running low on disk space does not trigger a Low Disk Space notification.

Actual result

  • After pairing a Bluetooth device which requires Show all devices the device and its connection is never shown in the Quick-Access Menu.

Expected result

  • All paired Bluetooth device and connection should always be shown in the Quick-Access Menu.
