Bug Description

This bug is identical to an OptiFine issue from OptiFine L5

Essentially, at the crosshair a set distance away, you can see particle effects and these effects follow the player's crosshair around as you move. This is easily noticeable on Hypixel and is most likely the same issue that OptiFine had, particle effects are still being rendered on invisible entities, in this case a wither, which Hypixel uses for rendering the bossbar.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Join Hypixel with 1.8.x set
  2. Look into the void
  3. See that there is a trail of particle effects that follow your crosshair

Expected Behavior

I expect the particles to not render as they don't in vanilla 1.8.x
