Getting nothing from "Find orphan files" even though I know I have some

I'm trying to output a list of .jpg and .png files that are not being linked to from any note. (Isn't that the definition of an orphaned file?)

However, when I run "Find orphan files" I get an unlinked files output that has no entries, even though I have several that I put into the vault just to try this plug-in. For every one of them, Obsidian reports "no backlinks found."

I haven't entered anything in the "Exclude files" list and the "File types" list. Actually, I don't think I made any changes to the defaults.

What could I be doing wrong?
