<p>The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a prestigious test conducted by the Indian National Council for Educational Research and Training (INCET)</p>

<h2>What Is The Structure Of JEE MAINS?</h2>
<ul>
<li>The exam consists of two parts – Physics and Chemistry. The Physics section carries 45% weightage while the Chemistry section has 35%. Mathematics.</li>
<li>The JEE Main consists of two parts – Physics and Chemistry. The question paper carries a total of 45 questions with four options each. Each correct answer carries 4 marks while each wrong answer deducts 1 mark from your score. If you do not secure a minimum of 40% marks in either of the subjects, you will be deemed unsuccessful in clearing the JEE Main.</li>
<li>To appear for the JEE Main, candidates need to have completed their schooling up to 10+2 level or equivalent thereof. Candidates who are appearing for Class X should submit their Mark Sheet along with other documents. For those appearing for Class XII, the Mark List should be submitted along with other documents. Note that only one set of documents can be accepted per candidate.</li>
<li>If you are unable to produce a Mark Sheet / Mark List, you may provide a copy of Certificate of Completion of Schooling issued by the Board of Education or any other recognized authority. In such cases, the application form must also carry a statement stating this fact. However, if the certificate does not state why the document was not produced, it would lead to disqualification.</li>
<li>Candidates applying through the OBC category should upload a self-attested photocopy of the Aadhaar Card. Similarly, SC/ST candidates should upload a self-attested photocopy of Aadhaar Card or a self-attested photocopy of PAN Card. Persons from Other Backward Castes (OBC) Category should upload both Aadhaar Card and PAN Card. All these documents should be uploaded before filling the Application Form.</li>

<h2>Exam Dates and Registration</h2>
<p>The JEE Main 2024 Session 1 exam will be conducted on January 24th and February 1st, 2024. The registration process for Session 1 has begun, and the last date to apply is November 30th, 2023. The application process for Session 2 will begin in February 2024.</p>

<h2>New JEE Main Website</h2>
<p>The NTA has launched a new version of the JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.ac.in, to make the registration process smoother. Candidates can easily navigate this website, and a helpdesk will assist them at every step.</p>

<h2>Revised Fee Structure</h2>
<p>The NTA has revised the JEE Main fee structure to make it more inclusive. The fee for Paper 1 is now Rs. 1000 for General (Male), Rs. 800 for General (Female), Rs. 900 for OBC / EWS (Male), Rs. 800 for OBC / EWS (Female), and Rs. 500 for SC / ST category candidates.</p>
