MOSFET doesn't switch off

When I connect to a MOSFET it's always on and doesn't respond to switching off from the UI. The red control LED on the board below that PA is always on.
I connect a 5v LED (regular, not addressable), the plus wire to vin, ground to M1.

The mapping of the pinout is:

When I map MOSFET without connecting it anything is responds to power toggle (The MOSFET red control LED on the board turns on and off accordingly).
Is the wiring wrong? How can I fix it?
