I wrote this up recently when I was asked this question for switching from Kadence to Core blocks which gave me the broader idea around an official learn resource to help folks in general. Similar to switching to a Block Theme, I could see this being a useful lesson for folks, especially for anyone wanting to reduce the number of plugins on one's site or wanting the benefits of using core provided blocks (reliability, performance, backwards compat, etc).

@annezazu I think this is a great idea, and something along the same lines as this workshop that @wparasae hosted earlier this year on migrating from a classic theme to a block theme.

Given the training team's focus on the Learning Pathways project, I'm going to suggest that this be created as an online workshop for now, with the possibility of it being included in one of the learning pathways.

@westnz could you see this being part of the user learning pathway, or do you think this would be more of a developer-focused topic? I could honestly see it being part of both.

Hey @jonathanbossenger, I agree this can be an online workshop for now.

I can see it being part of the user learning pathway as well.
