The current HD UV system can only be applied across a whole model, but Chunk supports both UV types (UVN & UVH) interchangeably on the same model. Not only does this restrict UV accuracy options for the format, but this also effects model import as it's impossible to correctly read and apply the HD UV settings accurately; the current behavior being to ignore it outright and export all strips as UVN unless the user changes it. This also effects Dreamcast events, as HD UVs are often used on computer monitors for high quality UV animations, which break under the current system.
Making UVH strips a toggle in the material settings would resolve this issue, allowing the UV format to be correctly read on import and applied, and allowing the user to toggle which materials are and aren't using HD UVs. A tooltip would also be needed to alert the user that this is only for Chunk export.
