While using OpenDigger to extract the change_request_response_time.json file, I noticed that some results are negative. However, response time should not be negative.

For example, when analyzing Alibaba's data, the response time results from OpenDigger are negative. In contrast, in the "top_300_metrics" used in the OpenRank competition, Alibaba's related data are positive, and there is no change. The negative values seem to be converted to positive ones without any clear pattern.

Expected Behavior

Response times should always be positive. Negative values might be caused by incorrect calculations or a different time measurement method. Please clarify the cause of this issue.

Any Additional Comments?

I would like clarification on the following:

  1. Are the negative values in the data caused by the calculation formula?
  2. Is the "top_300_metrics" dataset in the OpenRank competition using a different time measurement method?
  3. If there is a conversion process, how are negative values transformed into positive ones? Is there any specific rule or pattern?

Thank you for your assistance!
