When I found out about Meshcentral, I was thrilled with the idea of using a different PC I have, to use MeshCentral so I can remotely assist my family members and friends, and remote into my family's PCs for PC maintenance and assistance.
I am a Meshcentral novice user trying to use Meshcentral on a different PC acting as my Server.
I already have my own domain (lets say: www.bob.com in this case) that I purchased from Cloudflare.
For cloudflare, I already made sure I created a DNS A record for my domain.
(I recently built my own OPNsense router from scratch recently thanks to https://homenetworkguy.com/)
I initially tried to use the Youtube tutorials from Yilan installing NodeJS and using command prompt and so on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsQbWZmRRAU, but halfway through it wasn't working and felt a bit daunting to setup that way so I downloaded the Windows MeshCentral Installer, https://meshcentral.com/downloads.html
Overall, I'm using a PC that has the MeshCentral Windows program running with my custom domain but I can only access it when I type localhost.
But not when I go to "www.bob.com"
For the Server mode I made sure to select WAN and not LAN.
There are most likely more information that needs to be given but I wanted to know if anyone ran into an issue with opening ports for OPNsense routers.
Has anyone have any issues with using OPNsense and Meshcentral?
Did anyone have any luck with resolving it, when setting up a simple PC windows installation such as this or not?
I could not tell if my ISP is blocking those ports by default or not.

Hello!
When I found out about Meshcentral, I was thrilled with the idea of using a different PC I have, to use MeshCentral so I can remotely assist my family members and friends, and remote into my family's PCs for PC maintenance and assistance.

Anyways, I was using a mix of:
ChatGPT
the PDF guide: https://meshcentral.com/docs/MeshCentral2InstallGuide.pdf
https://homenetworkguy.com/how-to/configure-wan-and-nat-port-forward-rules-in-opnsense/ to try to help me open ports 80 and 443 in OPNsense.
