Enhancement: widget for live view

I believe many zmNinja users would like to have a widget for live view from ZoneMinder. Is there any plans for implementing this feature?

This is something that has been asked several times in the past and I see a value in it. That being said, it requires native android programming skills which I don't have. I use Cordova/Ionic for the app, and in that environment, widgets don't work. So if someone would like to contribute a PR with a basic widget I can maintain it.

What about you write some frames out to files from each zm monitor at selectable intervals and we use a photo gallery application widget to show those files?. I'm sure there is an app with widgets that do exactly that...

Maybe when having more progress with websockets at ZM could be easily implemented that way:
