Branch for future relase development

Is there any possibility of creating the development branch for future relase (e.g. gtk+3, wayland, etc.) ?

gtk3 and wayland are software for powered coputers not for minimal setups.. so there's no much sense in that! fbpanel is made to be simple and no hard requirements.. more complicated things (wayland ) are out of scope of the target (simple, single and for simplicity.. wayland is for complicated and bigger desktops.. fbpanel for window managers etc) and in particular wayland is no so coo for old school linux users. in fact shit
