When a citizen makes a choice on a choiceboard it does not update

Description

When a citizen makes a choice on a choice board they are still shown the choice board instead of the chosen activity. When it is clicked again they are shown the chosen activity marked as complete.
This is related to other bugs in the week plan about activites not updating unless they are clicked into.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Login as guardian
2. Create new citizen
3. Click new citizen
4. Create new week plan
5. Click new week plan
6. Create new activity
7. Click new activity
8. Add new choice to the activity
9. Go to week plan view
10. Switch to citizen mode
11. Click the activity and make a choice
    Observe the activity does not change and still shows a choice board
12. Click the activity
    Observe it now shows the chosen activity as completed.

Expected behavior
When making a choice on a choice board the chosen pictogram should show instead of the choice board.

Actual behavior and screenshots
The pictogram is not updated and instead the choice board is still shown.
