I'm asking for more context because I’m wondering if a date-based approach is the best fit here. For instance, what’s the benefit of a daily build if there were no code changes that day?
It might make sense to consider other triggers for builds, such as when a PR is merged or other meaningful changes occur.
Let’s discuss this a bit further before making a decision.
The right approach for us may be using a bit of both: event-based builds and scheduled builds.
We should rebuild published containers daily.
This also applies to purldb and dejacode
