Describe the bug

When i opening Spotify song link in Whatsap it opens Redomi and allows to choose services marked in Redomi - no complains here.
When i choosing service itself in Redomi (Youtube/Tidal/Soundcloud etc) - instead to open this link in appropriate application, it opens it in browser leading to appropriate webpage. As example it opens youtube.com/tidal.com and leads exactly to song i was trying to open.

Expected behavior

I'd expect to open this link in appropriate app (Tidal for example) instead.
Things done:

  • Redomi default app to open links - services to use are selected in Redomi app
  • Tidal is default application to open tidal related links like: tidal. com and listen.tidal.com
  • cleared cash/data for both (Redomi/Tidal) and made appropriate settings again
  • phone restarted after making changes
    Am i missing something?

Device

Redomi version: 1.30

This page looks like this for Redomi for you right? Assuming you use only Tidal and Youtube

Sounds weird, Tidal has verified links so you can't have the links turned on, on Redomi (Samsung does this page wrong compared to others, it should tell which other app opens that link already, and grey it out if verified). As for Youtube you need to manually do it on its page.

I have an S23 Ultra, Android 14 One UI 6.1(.1) (and other Samsung devices at home) and links open in app correctly

I do not have tidal.com (only listen.tidal.com) - otherwise yes, exactly the same:

I'm using Nova launcher instead of samsung OneUI, maby it may cause this to happen (just realized).

I know the cause. Your music apps are not from playstore. You have to manually enable it for tidal and YouTube in system settings for respective apps.
