Adapt It Mobile Version: Milestone 0.8.5
Severity: 3
Description: This is an enhancement request that came up in this week's conference sessions.
Currently, some of the "app builder" apps support the import of MS Word for publication. Because this seems to be a format that is common -- especially for the Reading App Builder -- it seems like it would also be useful for AIM to import files of this format for adaptation.
I'm currently not clear as to which type of Word document is being imported (.rtf, .doc or .docx). I'll try to find out more details and add them to this enhancement request. As this is a secondary format, this should be considered as a request for a later release.

It looks like .rtf and .doc parsers might be more difficult to support. There is a javascript parser out there for .docx, however: https://github.com/lalalic/docx4js. This library also supports saving to .docx format, which might be interesting for document export.
