Maybe I missed something but I don't see a mention of how to use this in the README.

It does mention "you might want to just install docs application" but I think it would be good to have just a short mention of how this is meant to be used.

Or maybe a link to more general information about this project - I landed here by search for "AEM Exceptional Experiences" on the web, maybe I should have landed elsewhere ;-)

You know how it is, you write in some descriptions what you want your project to be, Sling has not always brought the fun ;-)
This project is used by us, but on hold in its progress waiting for some internal product performance issues on heavy dialogs to be solved.

However your point is valid thought, and we'll work on a better "first glance" experience
