This issue is to capture activities related to whether we would have new requirements to handle with regards to supporting Windows platforms.
Relating to #343 (comment) (and https://cygwin.com/pipermail/cygwin-announce/2022-January/010438.html) and that cygwin will no longer be supported on certain Windows versions (though it may not impact the versions that we care about).
