Hello, so if you have been caught up lately, you would notice I have been lacking on updating projectfnf for awhile now. I've been asked if I even own the engine anymore and the answer is still yes. Let me explain what's been going on.
The main reason I haven't been working on it in awhile is because well, simply put, I'm not really good at coding. I don't know how to do much and I'm trying to learn still. I don't want to develop an engine that is terrible constantly because I don't know what the hell I'm doing.
The second reason is because of something called "Burnout". Basically being burned out is when you work on something so frequently to the point it's not fun anymore and then don't have any motivation or desire to work on it. This has happened with a lot of stuff of mine, like me trying to keep a constant upload schedule on YouTube. I did it so much I didn't find it fun anymore to do. Usually for me, taking a break from working on it is the best way to get out of that pit. And recovery has been taking forever for me.
Lastly, I haven't been working on ProjectFNF because I have tons of other mod ideas that I want to make, and I can't code an entire engine AND several mods at once, it gets way too stressful.
I hope I can finally get out of this stupid burnout and get back to coding the engine, but I can't guarantee anything. I completely understand if you want to ditch the engine or something but please, consider joining the discord or even trying to contribute yourself. Just because I am not doing anything does not mean it's over.
P.S. Thank you so much @MagnusStrom and @l1ttleO for keeping the engine afloat while I have been struggling to have any motivation. Without you guys, I don't even think ProjectFNF will have been where it is today, let alone survive being inactive.
