# Troubleshooting
#[[##]]# Configuration Problems
Here is a list of known problems that can be solved with the help of a
configuration file. If you have solved another problem, which could be
interesting for others, feel free to append it to the list, maybe
someone will be deeply grateful for your help.
#[[###]]# Problem: The source of an artifact is not added to the source jar
Message type in processing report
: `MISSING_COORDINATES`, `MISSING_SOURCES`
Possible solution
: The artifact has no coordinates, therefore the sources can't be
downloaded from a repository.
Message type in processing report
: `ARTIFACT_IS_PROPRIETARY`
Possible solution
: Override the MavenCoordinates in the override section of your
configuration file.
Message type in processing report
: `MATCHSTATE_UNKNOWN`, `MATCH_STATE_NOT_EXACT`
Possible solution
: Override the isProprietary attribute in the override section of your
config file. The Match State of the artifact is declared as UNKNOWN or
SIMILAR by the scan source. Override it with EXACT in the override section.
#[[###]]# Problem: An artifact does not appear at all
Possible solution
: Add it in the addArtifact section to the artifacts list.
#[[###]]# Problem: The license of an artifact is missing
Message type in processing report
: `MISSING_LICENSE_INFORMATION`
Possible solution
: Set the license of the artifact in the setFinalLicense section of your
artifact.
#[[##]]# Other problems
#[[###]]# Problem: Missing license text
Message type in processing report
: MISSING_LICENSE_TEXT
Possible solution
: Add the license text to the knowledgebase.
#[[###]]# Problem: ${docNameCap} fails because it does not find files for attribution document
Possible solution
: Have a look at your projects path. Unfortunately ${docNameCap} can't deal with
spaces in pathnames.
#[[###]]# Problem: The build fails with the message "There are conflicting configurations....."
Message type in processing report
: `CONFLICTING_CONFIGURATIONS`
Possible solution
: Check the processing report and resolve the problems in your
configuration files.
#[[###]]# Problem: ${docNameCap} uses a sources jar artifact to create the sources.zip file which contains only references to the main jar file
Possible solution
: Upload a custom sources jar artifact with the missing sources to nexus
and wipe the local maven repo.
#[[###]]# Problem: The build fails with missing parameters message
The build fails with:
```
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal
${antennaMavenGroupId}:${antennaMavenPluginName}:1.4.2:analyze (default-cli) on project
wfs-project: The parameters 'applicationId' for goal
${antennaMavenGroupId}:${antennaMavenPluginName}:1.4.2:analyze are missing or invalid
```
Possible solution
: You probably run the Maven job with the wrong pom that does not
contain the ${docNameCap} configuration - this can easily happen when you create
a Jenkins job for multi module project where the ${docNameCap} configuration is
not in the main pom that Jenkins uses by default. So, just check what
you've entered in the field "POM" of your Jenkins Maven Goals
configuration (which by default is hidden).
