When I added a TODO in Journal, the task is considered as overdue tasks and displayed at the top section name "Today". I think adding a task in Journal means the creation date of that task.

Is it intended behaviour? If so, can you provide an option to disable this?

I second this. My workflow consists of writing TODOs down in the journal, but that doesn't mean I want to do them on this day. An option to not interpret TODOs on a journal page as scheduled (and thus have them show up under ‘Anytime’ by default) would help me immensely.
