This is a working group that came out of sig-design that is focused on revamping the Akash Network Youtube Channel.

The effort should last a month or so for phase 1.

Phase 2 to follow.

Success looks like:

• increased subscribers
• more views per video

Update 08/06/2024 2nd Akash YT WG call

Adding comments and discussions for this call

• Add deploy on Akash console link to description
• Add disclaimer for Beta tools when posting tutorial or deployments videos
• For Akash community playlist we will use clips and videos from the Steering community calls

*It was suggested that we assemble guides for video and content creation since we want to push more community generated content in Akash channel including giving credits to creators

• Add international playlist containing videos about Akash in other languages
• It was mentioned the possibility to start an Akash channel in Omni TV, since there’s already Akash EDU, team considers we could start by reusing the videos already there in Akash EDU and go from there

08/20/2024 YT WG Call notes

• Agreed we will keep answers for comments short and route people to Akash discord and resources
• For next working group call, the steering committee videos should be edited with the opening and closing screen and uploaded to Akash YT (Pending follow up for graphic assets)
• 3 YT Shorts ready for publish

• We started responding to comments in Akash YT Channel
• Got access to download steering committee calls
• We chatted a little about having a Project Backlog doc for this initiative
• Some progress was made with the intro and outro card for videos

• We uploaded some steering committee call videos and are working on having more of them ready for publish

Deliverables for next WG call

• Add links to Roadmap and more information about Akash in video descriptions
• Change the upload dynamics for steering committee call videos (upload 2-3 most recent, then older ones)
• Create and make public a backlog document for YouTube initiatives, Done
• Produce new videos about the latest features of Akash Console, sent announcement in Discord
• Share Canva workspace access for collaborative editing of graphic elements, Shared with Tyler and BS
