What

Some pages of GOV.UK include more than 1 breadcrumb component, but use the same aria-label, this is not considered best practice - https://dequeuniversity.com/rules/axe/4.10/landmark-unique?application=AxeChrome

Solutions discussed:

  • Reach out to an accessibility specialist in the first instance
  • Also check with content design
  • Consider enabling best practice in axe-core in the govuk_publishing_components gem
