Updating the CV content in _site\cv\index.html

I am not sure if this is the wrong place to update my CV information, but I've tried to change the content under _site\cv\index.html so that the CV tab loads my experience. Note that I do not want this to open as a new pdf, or have attached pds, just want this information embedded into the site.

I have not deployed the site yet, and when I try to test this the new content will show up, but then disappear again as soon as I hit refresh (it will also change it to the default al-folio content locally). I've pushed the changes but _site does not get updated I suppose?

Sorry if this is very noob-ish - haven't worked with any website like stuff before. Thanks!

Update: Much easier fix than I did. For anyone stuck, you can edit the CV in _data\cv.yml :)
