Hey Amanda,

thanks for this great handbook. I just wanted to bring to your attention that I created an HackyHour organization here on GitHub. This way the nice url https://hackyhour.github.io can be used. I organize a HackyHour in Würzburg (Germany) and @aleimba is doing the same in Göttingen (Germany). So we have repos for each location (resulting in pages at https://hackyhour.github.io/Wuerzburg and https://hackyhour.github.io/Goettingen )

The idea of this organization is primarily to provide unified URLs and link to existing HackyHours. Who ever wants to can become part of the HackyHour organization and add a repository for their location. Just let me know and I'll send the invite. Alternatively I can add a link for your HackyHour to https://hackyhour.github.io no matter where it is hosted, just open an issue or pr at https://github.com/HackyHour/HackyHour.github.io

If you want to you can add this info to your handbook.

Best regards,
Markus

Excellent, a reference sounds lovely. A github tag or collaborative organisation could work well- I'm very keen to share resources or lessons learnt. A few of us Australian QLD and Au/NZ hacky hours are in touch here and I hoped to get the ball rolling with this handbook.

Hey Markus

I started a google group of hacky hour coordinators if you would like to join- for coordinators to share useful resources and have conversations on what works well for hacky hours.

Hi Amanda,
indeed I'd love to join. I'll request membership with my google account. Thanks a lot for asking.
