Hi there! We're working on something on the death penalty over at github.com/360-info, and we were hoping to incorporate the amazing data you folks have built up tracking executions and death sentences. However, we are a newswire (we generally release our work under CC BY 4.0 so that other news outlets can use or remix things), and I don't want to just pinch the data off the repo without checking whether you have an existing licence for it. Is there a CC-compatible licence you can provide for it? (Ideally CC BY 4.0, since many of the outlets who use our stuff are commercial!)
Happy to put whatever form of attribution is preferred on our work, of course!

@jimjam-slam apologies for never responding to your comment last year. For some reason I didn't get the notification (I may have been on leave at the time). I'm only just picking up your message now I'm adding new data for this year.
We haven't looked into licensing for this in detail as it's mainly been used within the Amnesty movement.
No worries at all, David! If you are interested in adding an open licence to this data, I'd be happy to keep this data in mind the next time we do something about the death penalty 😊
