We've had feedback from a Spanish translator that the number format should be:

  • using a dot to separate thousands
  • the plus sign should come before the number, rather than after

@SophieAmnesty I think this has been raised before. But unfortunately we can't fix this without budget for developer resource.

The strings are the same for all languages. I think creating variations probably requires the map code to be rewritten quite significantly. I think if we started again we'd probably approach it a bit differently.
