Hero block - better linking with featured image

When you have a hero block at the top of a page, and you add a featured image, in the page settings, that image will appear in the hero block.

However, if you add the image to the hero block, using the block tools, the image does not become the featured image.

Also, if an image is added to the hero block this way (using the hero block tools, not as a featured image), when a translated version of the page is made, by copying the code over, the image doesn't show and it has a confusing UI. The translator has to remove the non-visible image by clicking the x, to reveal the image button and re-add the image.

This confusion can be avoided by always adding the image for a hero block via the featured image. If translators use the overwrite featured image option when they create the translated post, the image should copy over.

In terms of enhancements, we could:

• make the hero block image automatically populate the featured image

(unless we want to maintain the ability to have a different featured image from the image in the hero block)
