When I open the slide mode, I see a list of slides on the bottom of my screen. I can grab one of those slides with the mouse and move them. When I then start the presentation, the slides are shown in the new order. However, the display in the bottom tool bar which the slide previews does not update, it still keeps the old order. So, the presentation does not show slides from left to right any longer, but jumps around.
That becomes a problem if I want to do more reordering and take a second slide and drag it around. Now I don't really know which one is which any longer making it hard to pick the right one.

I have the same problem. When the slide previews fill the space in the bottom, new slides are inserted in the middle of the slide order. It's impossible to drag them to the end. They always jump back to the middle.
Same problem here. Clicking "+Slide" often puts in a new slide somewhere in the middle instead of at the end. Reordering then is a mess - sometimes working sometimes doing more harm than anything. It's then simpler to just redo the whole presentation than trying to reorder one single slide.
I'm using nbpresnt 3.0.2 on firefox ESR 45.4.
