That would be awesome :)

Do you think it can be used as-is? I'm afraid I don't currently have the time to work on implementing UUID v1 and v2 which are currently missing from the package.

I think it could be used as the basis for an RFC at the least. I can't speak for others on if it could be included as is, but, I do think it would be worth an RFC to kick off some discussion. At worst, the RFC is the basis for someone else doing an independent implementation of what you started.
