Web browsers allow you to open a link to a tab in the background, so you're still on the same tab as before. On macOS this is command-click, I think it is control-click on Windows, and on both platforms it is mapped to the middle mouse click.
What I'm looking for is a way to Open In another browser, but not have that other browser window come to the foreground. That is, if I (for example) middle-click a link that has been configured such that it Opens In another browser, then it opens it in the background and I'm still on the source browser window.
I don't see this in the options already. Nor did it seem to be a match for an existing feature proposal.
