[The Stats page needs quite a few updates, but I'd encourage pull requests to address them one-at-a-time.]

Here's a good one:
https://docs.ankiweb.net/stats.html#the-graphs
This pretty clearly describes the old Stats graph, not the current one.

Hourly Breakdown
This graph shows what percentage of total reviews you have passed (i.e., not pressed Again on) during given hours. The larger, darker bars and left axis show the success rate; the thinner, lighter bars and right axis show the number of reviews you’ve made at that hour (so you know how significant the results are).

Anki 2.1.28+ introduced redesigned graphs. The old graphs are still accessible with a Shift-click on the Stats button.

Considering it's still possible to view the old graph, should we describe both graphs here?

I wouldn't want to delete the description of the old graphs if we can still access them. But adding even more info can be quite overwhelming.

Maybe putting the old graph info into a sub file which will be linked to?

IMO remove it. The manual's information overload is already complained about a lot.

I'd say removing it only makes sense if the actual shift-click functionality gets removed as well. The manual is supposed to document the features after all – and just because the old stats aren't as prominently accessable doesn't mean it shouldn't be documented anymore.

But if you all (including dae) agree, then I'll just replace it.

The stats aren't hard to understand, if you can understand what the current versions are doing you can understand the previous versions as well. Or maybe I don't represent the average stats-literacy among people.

IIRC, shift-click is only kept because of add-ons that make use of older screen, and not anything else. In any case, personally don't see anyone needing to look up things in old screen (except add-on stats).
