This should be the original protocol used on GOMECC-4 and that era of projects, where Sterivex was run dry and frozen without preservative, and beads were not added until time of extraction.
Add this protocol
Indicate in both protocols that volume filtered can vary by project and environment (1-2 L in coastal environments; ~8 L in open-ocean environments) and turbidity (less volume for more turbid water)
