• Quarkus 3.8.1 Upgrade
  • Quarkus LTS 3.8.x upgrade #958
  • OptaPlanner
    • PR is open for OptaPlanner, available for merging, but would be good to sync with rest
  • Other repositories?
    • Alex was working on that, supposedly Drools tried, but probably no PR yet.
    • Kie-tools quarkus dev UIs
      • devUI has breaking changes generally when upgrading to 3.8 - so adjustments needed.
      • dev UI for BPMN forward compatible with 3.8.x - should be ok to upgrade there, with no additional changes.
      • Other components scheduled for early next week.
      • Should be doable next week to adjust all devUI components.
• All these prerequisite of 10 Release

  • When releasing kogito-apps, make sure OptaPlanner is not pointing to a SNAPSHOT version. #1042
  • kogito-images depending on mutable (regular) SNAPSHOT versions (999-SNAPSHOT).
    • After branching the SNAPSHOT version needs to change - does kogito-images build account for that? Action Item.
  • Release branch
    • 999-SNAPSHOT -> 10.0.0-SNAPSHOT
