Slate to OpenAPI

I've seen OpenAPI to Slate converters, but haven't been able to find a Slate to OpenAPI conversion tool. If one does not exist, I'd like to create one.

Slate input is just pure markdown, so it's even less structured than API Blueprint. And the markdown source is not available through the rendered website. A scraping tool such as https://github.com/rbren/scrape-to-swagger which uses HTML parsing, CSS selectors and regex matching would work, but not everyone structures their (say) parameter or schema tables the same way so it would need adjusting for each site.
