Greetings Apostrophiles,
This weekly release was pushed back to stomp out a last-minute bug and then got a mid-day hotfix to restore node 14 backwards compatibility. However, we are excited to announce a major upgrade to the Editor experience!
Area widgets can now be grouped and displayed in a visual preview menu. Widgets can be displayed as icons or images in multiple columns. No longer will layout widgets have to intermingle with content widgets!
In a major step towards feature parity with version 2, we are proud to release a blog module for version 3. This allows the creation of blog-pieces and provides blog-piece-pages with filtering.
Developers at Apostrophe are continuing the love-fest for Editors with plans for the release of widget placeholders in the next cycle. We also hope to have several updated recipes for version 3. Any suggestions for new tutorials are always welcome.
Just a reminder, we are an open-source project and it is Hacktoberfest. We are open for pull requests!
