File organization options in config

Right now all of the files are generated in their own unique file, with types and schemas in the same file. they are all in one directory, with a single index file. we want to allow presets for single file, single directory, multi directory, as well as more granular control of WHERE different file directories are being saved at, to allow users to save them in the libs they prefer.
