It would also be nice if there were a simple way to jump to the bottom of the message history. This is tricky though, because the definition of "Bottom" changes as new messages come in. I think it would make sense to have two different "jump to bottom" keystrokes. One that jumps to the current bottom, and one that "tails" the message history until you scroll. These would be useful when stepping away from the machine.

As keybindings, perhaps End and G could jump to current bottom. I don't have good ideas for what might be intuitive for the tailing functionality. Definitely open to suggestions there.

The non-tail variant of this was implemented in eb64bb6

I'll rename the issue to focus on the unimplemented component.
