Load1D does not work for PCs. #1

The function attempts to get the filenames using ls under the PC option, but does not get them as cell array of strings. Rather, it gets an n x 2 character array. Something is amiss here. Perhaps breaking up this char array to cells is the solution.

By PC, I mean Windows/DOS systems

Was it "previously" working for PC? Put it another way, is this bug version dependent?
